2. Scope of These Terms
These Terms apply to customers purchasing Products for personal and domestic use.
They do not apply to Products purchased for resale or in the course of a business. Please contact us before placing an order intended for commercial resale.
These Terms should be read alongside our:
- Delivery Information
- Returns Policy
- Privacy Policy
- Cookie Policy
- Website Terms of Use
The delivery services, charges, free-delivery thresholds, currencies and estimated delivery times shown at checkout will apply to your particular Order.
If information shown at checkout conflicts with general information elsewhere on the Website, the information clearly displayed at checkout before you pay will normally take priority.
Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
3. Product Information
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, sizes, colours, materials and other information are accurate.
However:
- Product colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen, device settings, photography and lighting.
- Product packaging may differ from packaging shown in photographs.
- Minor variations in measurements, finish, fabric texture or construction may occur between production batches.
- Different product designs may fit differently even where the same labelled size is selected.
- Images are provided for illustrative purposes and may not always represent the precise scale of a Product.
Please check the size guide and product information displayed on the relevant product page before placing your Order.
Minor variations that do not materially affect the quality, appearance, fit or intended use of a Product will not normally mean that the Product is faulty.
This does not affect your rights where a Product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or materially different from its description.
4. Product Availability
All Products are subject to availability.
Adding a Product to your basket does not reserve it. A Product may become unavailable before your Order has been accepted or dispatched.
Stock information is updated regularly, but occasional stock discrepancies may occur.
If we are unable to supply a Product that you have ordered, we will contact you and refund the amount paid for the unavailable Product.
We may apply reasonable limits to the number of Products that can be purchased by one customer, household, payment method or delivery address.
5. Placing an Order
Our Website will guide you through the ordering process.
Before submitting your Order, you will have the opportunity to review:
- The Products selected.
- Sizes and colours.
- Quantities.
- The delivery country and address.
- Delivery options and charges.
- Discounts.
- Applicable taxes.
- The currency and final amount payable.
You are responsible for checking this information carefully before completing payment.
You must provide complete and accurate billing, delivery and contact information.
After submitting your Order, you will receive an email acknowledging that it has been received. This acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that we have accepted your Order.
A Contract is formed when we send an email confirming that your Order has been accepted or dispatched.
6. Order Acceptance
All Orders are subject to acceptance by Box Menswear.
We may refuse or cancel an Order where:
- A Product is unavailable.
- A Product or price contains an obvious error.
- We are unable to authorise or verify payment.
- The billing or delivery information cannot be verified.
- Delivery restrictions apply to the Product or destination.
- We reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised activity.
- We believe the Products are being purchased for unauthorised resale.
- A customer has attempted to misuse a promotion or discount.
- The Order exceeds a reasonable quantity restriction.
- We are otherwise unable to fulfil the Order for a legitimate reason.
If payment has already been taken for an Order that we do not accept, the relevant amount will be refunded to the original payment method.
7. Prices, Currency and Taxes
Product prices may be displayed in a currency based on your selected country or Shopify Market.
The currency in which your payment will be processed will be clearly shown at checkout. Depending on your selected market, this may include currencies such as GBP, EUR, USD, CAD or AUD.
Before you submit your Order, checkout will display:
- The Product subtotal.
- Any discounts.
- Delivery charges.
- Applicable taxes collected by Box Menswear.
- The final amount payable.
- The currency in which payment will be processed.
Taxes may be included within the displayed price or calculated at checkout depending on the delivery destination and applicable tax rules.
Your bank, card issuer or payment provider may apply its own currency conversion rate or international transaction fee. These charges are imposed by the payment provider and are outside our control.
We may change prices at any time. A price change will not affect an Order that we have already accepted, except where there has been an obvious pricing error.
If we discover an obvious pricing error before dispatch, we may contact you and give you the option to:
- Continue with the Order at the correct price; or
- Cancel the affected Products and receive a refund.
8. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods displayed at checkout.
Payment may be authorised or collected when your Order is submitted. The timing of payment may depend on the payment method and provider used.
Available payment methods may vary according to:
- The delivery country or market.
- The Order currency.
- The value of the Order.
- The Products being purchased.
- The requirements of the payment provider.
- The customer’s eligibility.
Only payment methods displayed to you at checkout are available for your Order.
Klarna, Clearpay and other buy-now-pay-later or instalment services are subject to the provider’s own eligibility checks, terms and privacy policy.
Clearpay is only available to eligible United Kingdom customers where it is displayed at checkout. The availability of any payment service in one market does not mean that it is available in every country.
We are not responsible for a payment provider declining an application, refusing a transaction or applying its own charges.
9. Delivery and Discreet Packaging
ALL ORDERS ARE DISPATCHED IN DISCREET PACKAGING
Your privacy is extremely important to us.
Every Order, regardless of its destination or delivery service, is securely dispatched in discreet outer packaging.
Orders are dispatched from Liverpool, United Kingdom, to the delivery address provided at checkout.
The delivery services, charges, free-delivery thresholds and estimated delivery times currently available are set out on our Delivery Information page and will be shown at checkout.
Delivery estimates are calculated in working days and do not normally include:
- Weekends.
- Public holidays.
- Customs processing time.
- Delays within local delivery networks.
- Events outside our reasonable control.
Delivery estimates begin when an Order is dispatched.
An estimated delivery time is not a guaranteed delivery date unless the service is expressly described as guaranteed.
Unless another delivery period is agreed with you, Products will normally be delivered no later than 30 days after the Contract is formed.
10. Delivery Address
You must provide a complete and accurate delivery address.
Please contact us immediately if you discover an error. We will try to help, but we cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an Order has entered processing or been dispatched.
Where an Order cannot be delivered or is returned because:
- The address supplied was incomplete or incorrect.
- The customer did not collect the parcel.
- The recipient refused delivery.
- The recipient was unavailable after reasonable delivery attempts.
- The customer failed to respond to the delivery provider.
You may be responsible for reasonable redelivery, return, customs or handling costs.
Where permitted by law, actual unrecoverable costs may be deducted from any refund.
This does not affect your rights where the delivery problem was caused by Box Menswear or the delivery provider.
11. International Duties, Taxes and Customs Charges
Customs and tax arrangements vary depending on the delivery destination.
11.1 United States
Orders delivered to the United States are shipped with applicable import duties and tariffs paid by Box Menswear.
There should be no additional import duty or tariff payable to the carrier or customs authority when the Order is delivered.
Any tax that Box Menswear is required to collect will be shown at checkout. The amount displayed at checkout is the final amount charged by Box Menswear.
This does not include fees independently charged by your bank or payment provider.
11.2 European Union
Orders delivered to a European Union country with a goods value of up to €150 are shipped with applicable import duties and taxes paid by Box Menswear.
Orders with a goods value above €150 may be subject to additional:
- Import duties.
- VAT or other taxes.
- Customs charges.
- Courier administration or clearance fees.
Unless these charges have been expressly collected at checkout, charges applying to an Order above €150 are the responsibility of the recipient.
Please bear this in mind before placing an Order with a value above €150.
11.3 Canada and Australia
Unless checkout expressly states that import duties and taxes are included, Orders delivered to Canada or Australia may be subject to local import charges.
The recipient is responsible for any applicable duty, tax, customs charge, brokerage charge or courier administration fee that has not been collected at checkout.
11.4 Other International Destinations
Orders delivered to other international destinations, including Southeast Asia, Mexico, South America and other Rest of World countries, are not normally shipped with duties and taxes paid.
The recipient is responsible for any:
- Import duty.
- Sales tax or goods and services tax.
- Customs charge.
- Brokerage charge.
- Courier administration fee.
- Other import-related charge.
These charges are determined by the destination country, customs authority or delivery provider and are outside our control.
Please check your country’s import rules and thresholds before placing an Order.
11.5 Refusing Customs Charges
If you refuse to pay a customs charge for which you are responsible, your parcel may be returned, abandoned or destroyed by the delivery provider or customs authority.
Where a parcel is returned to us, we may deduct the actual and unrecoverable outward delivery, return delivery, customs and handling costs from any refund, where legally permitted.
We may be unable to issue a refund where the Products have been abandoned or destroyed and cannot be recovered.
12. Delivery Delays and Missing Orders
If your Order does not arrive within the estimated delivery period, please contact us as soon as possible.
We may need to open an investigation with the relevant delivery provider before issuing a replacement or refund.
Please report delivery disputes promptly and preferably within 45 working days of dispatch, as delivery providers may apply time limits to tracking information and claims.
This request does not remove any statutory rights that cannot legally be restricted.
We will not be responsible for delivery delays caused solely by customs authorities, local delivery networks or events outside our reasonable control. However, this does not remove any legal rights you may have where delivery does not take place within a reasonable time.
13. Risk and Ownership
Responsibility for the Products remains with Box Menswear until they are delivered to:
- You.
- A person identified by you to receive them.
- A safe place specifically nominated or authorised by you.
- A collection point selected by you.
Where you independently arrange a delivery provider that was not offered by us, responsibility may pass when the Products are handed to that provider.
Ownership of the Products passes to you once we have received payment in full.
14. Changing or Cancelling an Order Before Dispatch
We begin processing Orders shortly after they are submitted.
Please contact us immediately if you wish to change or cancel an Order.
We will try to make the requested change, but we cannot guarantee that an Order can be amended or stopped after it has entered warehouse processing.
If the Order has already been dispatched, you may need to follow the applicable cancellation and returns procedure.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights.
15. UK Cancellation Rights
Eligible United Kingdom consumers have the right to cancel an online purchase without giving a reason.
You must notify us that you wish to cancel within 14 days beginning on the day after you receive the Products.
Where Products from the same Order are delivered separately, the period begins on the day after you receive the final Product.
After notifying us, you must return the eligible Products within a further 14 days.
You can notify us by emailing support@boxmenswear.com and providing a clear statement that you wish to cancel.
Customers are generally responsible for the direct cost of returning non-faulty Products, provided this was explained before purchase. Original standard delivery costs must generally be refunded, although additional amounts paid for an express or premium service do not have to be refunded.
16. European Union Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer residing in a European Union country, you have the right to withdraw from an eligible online purchase without giving a reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a person nominated by you other than the carrier, receives the Products.
Where Products from the same Order are delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins after the final Product is received.
How to exercise the right of withdrawal
You may exercise your right of withdrawal by using the withdrawal button located in the footer of the Website.
You may also email support@boxmenswear.com with a clear statement confirming that you wish to withdraw from the Contract.
Please provide:
- Your name.
- Your Order number.
- The email address used for the Order.
- The Products covered by the withdrawal.
- The date on which the Products were received.
You must submit your withdrawal notice before the 14-day withdrawal period expires.
After notifying us, you must return the eligible Products within a further 14 days.
Unless the Products are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning them.
The footer withdrawal function is provided so eligible EU consumers can submit an online withdrawal statement. EU rules require withdrawal information to be clear and provide consumers with a 14-day withdrawal period for distance purchases.
17. Hygiene-Sensitive Products
Certain Products, including underwear, jockstraps, thongs and swimwear, are hygiene-sensitive.
Where a Product is supplied in sealed packaging or with a hygiene seal, the right to cancel or withdraw does not apply after that packaging or seal has been:
- Opened.
- Removed.
- Broken.
- Damaged.
Please inspect hygiene-sensitive Products without opening, removing or damaging the seal.
A hygiene-sensitive Product may be eligible for return where:
- The sealed packaging remains unopened.
- The hygiene seal remains completely intact.
- The Product has not been worn or washed.
- All original tags and labels remain attached.
- The Product is returned within the applicable return period.
The hygiene restriction does not affect your rights where a Product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.
Both UK and EU distance-selling rules recognise an exception for sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons after they have been unsealed.
18. Condition of Returned Products
You may inspect an eligible Product to the same extent that you would reasonably be able to inspect it in a physical shop.
Returned Products must, where applicable:
- Be unworn and unwashed.
- Be free from marks, odours, deodorant, make-up, hair or other signs of use.
- Have all original labels and tags attached.
- Be returned with their original packaging.
- Have all hygiene seals completely intact.
- Be securely packaged for return.
We may reduce a refund to reflect a loss in value caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the Product.
We will not refuse or reduce a refund where doing so would conflict with mandatory consumer law.
We recommend returning Products using a tracked service and retaining proof of postage.
19. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
Products must be of satisfactory quality, fit for their normal intended purpose and as described.
Please contact us as soon as possible if a Product:
- Arrives damaged.
- Has a manufacturing fault.
- Is not the Product you ordered.
- Is materially different from its description.
Please provide:
- Your Order number.
- A description of the issue.
- Photographs showing the fault or error, where reasonably requested.
Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, we may offer:
- A replacement.
- A repair, where appropriate.
- A full or partial refund.
- Another remedy agreed with you.
Where a Product is confirmed as faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, we will cover reasonable return costs or provide an appropriate return method.
Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, failure to follow care instructions or damage caused after delivery will not normally be treated as a manufacturing fault.
UK consumers generally have a 30-day short-term right to reject goods that do not conform to the contract, followed by further repair, replacement, price-reduction or final-rejection remedies where applicable.
Customers in other countries may have additional mandatory legal-guarantee rights under the laws of their country of residence.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
20. Exchanges
Exchanges are subject to Product and size availability.
Where a requested exchange is unavailable, we may issue a refund for the returned Product and ask you to place a new Order.
Hygiene-sensitive Products cannot be exchanged after their packaging or hygiene seal has been opened, removed, broken or damaged, unless the Product is faulty or incorrectly supplied.
21. Refunds
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
For an eligible cancellation or withdrawal, the refund will include:
- The price paid for the eligible returned Products.
- The cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered for the Order, where required by applicable law.
If you selected a premium, express or enhanced delivery service, we will not refund the additional amount paid above the cost of standard delivery unless required by law.
We may withhold a cancellation or withdrawal refund until:
- We have received the returned Products; or
- You provide satisfactory evidence that the Products have been returned.
Refunds will normally be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned Products or satisfactory evidence of return.
Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to display the refund in your account.
Customs duties, taxes or administration charges paid directly to a government, customs authority, delivery provider or other third party cannot normally be refunded by Box Menswear. You may need to apply directly to the relevant authority.
22. Promotions and Discount Codes
Promotions and discount codes are subject to any conditions displayed when they are issued.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- Only one discount code may be used per Order.
- Discount codes cannot be combined.
- Codes may exclude sale Products, bundles, gift cards, upsell offers or selected collections.
- A code may be limited to one use per customer.
- A code cannot be exchanged for cash.
- A code must be used before its expiry date.
- A code cannot normally be applied after an Order has been completed.
Free-delivery thresholds are calculated using the qualifying Product subtotal after discounts have been applied, unless the promotion states otherwise.
We may withdraw or amend a promotion before an Order is placed. This will not affect an Order that we have already accepted.
Where part of a discounted bundle or multibuy is returned, the refund may be recalculated based on the price that would have applied to the Products retained.
23. Gift Cards
Gift cards are subject to any separate terms shown when they are purchased or issued.
Unless otherwise stated, gift cards:
- Cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Cannot be used to purchase another gift card.
- Must be used before any stated expiry date.
- Should be treated like cash, as lost or stolen codes may not be replaceable.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
24. Our Liability
We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable when the Contract was formed.
We supply Products for personal and domestic use. We are not responsible for business losses, including:
- Loss of profit.
- Loss of revenue.
- Business interruption.
- Loss of commercial opportunity.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
- Defective Products where liability cannot legally be excluded.
- Any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
- Your statutory rights as a consumer.
25. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
We will not be responsible for a delay or failure caused by an event outside our reasonable control.
Such events may include:
- Severe weather.
- Natural disasters.
- Fire.
- Epidemics or public-health emergencies.
- War or terrorism.
- Civil unrest.
- Industrial action.
- Transport or delivery-network disruption.
- Customs disruption.
- Government action.
- Power or telecommunications failure.
Where such an event occurs, we will take reasonable steps to minimise its effect and resume our obligations as soon as reasonably possible.
If a significant delay continues, please contact us to discuss cancellation and any refund available under applicable law.
26. Personal Information
We collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Personal information may be shared with payment providers, delivery providers, customs authorities and other service providers where necessary to process, fulfil and deliver your Order.
Marketing consent is not a condition of purchasing a Product.
You may unsubscribe from marketing communications using the unsubscribe instructions contained in the relevant message or by contacting support@boxmenswear.com.
27. Communications and Complaints

We aim to respond to customer correspondence within 72 hours, although responses may take longer during exceptionally busy periods.
28. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to:
- Our business.
- Our Website.
- Delivery arrangements.
- Available payment methods.
- Applicable laws or regulations.
The version applying to your Order will normally be the version displayed when you placed it.
Changes made after we accept an Order will not remove rights that you already have under that Contract.
29. Other Important Terms
We may transfer our rights or obligations under these Terms as part of a sale, transfer or reorganisation of our business. Your rights will not be reduced as a result.
You may transfer your rights under a Contract only where permitted by law or with our written agreement.
The Contract is between you and Box Menswear. No other person has a right to enforce it except where the law provides otherwise.
If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining sections will continue to apply.
A delay by us in enforcing a right does not mean that we have waived that right.
30. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any Contract between you and Box Menswear are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer living in Scotland, Northern Ireland, the European Union or another country, you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable mandatory consumer law.
Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory consumer protection available under the laws of the country in which you live.
